Sci-Fi horror?
As you know we were planning on doing a month of giallo films in july but after watching a few GEMS I’m more stoked than I have been on movies in a while.

BUT you guys are the reason we do this show so chime in and let me know what you want!

I recently caught that on cable, and man, it certainly wasn’t as cool as I remembered it being from when I watched it as a 13 or 14 yr old.  I can only guess that’s because I’ve seen boobs since then.

I have a feeling that was a major draw back in the day.

Go for the Sci-Fi Horror, it’d be an interesting change of pace for the show.

I was looking forward to some Giallo - but I really don’t mind what you kids talk about. I’ll listened to you talk about your weird, guilty pleasures and didn’t die or anything. It’s not like you’re never going to talk about Giallo again…

When am I getting my very special by-request episode? I’m thinking of having you guys review Rhinestone and maybe Straight Talk. I suspect Miles owns both on DVD and could easily loan them to you.

I had went back and looked at the films you guys had covered, and to my surprise, there were only a handful of gialli in there, it felt like there were more. With that being said, I have no preference either way; I’ll listen to whatever you guys put out. In regards to Alyssa’s question though, when are we gonna get our special by request episode? I have a great show cooked up for you guys that I’m anxious to hear..

Keep a “old-time” horror on the back burnner of ideas too guys! You have to go back to the basics sometimes, I mentioned a few elsewhere, but another that pops to mind is the original House of Wax!

Ive been gagging for the month of giallo reviews so hope you guys stick with them!
You should check out some of the more obscure, wilder examples-stuff like the Killer reserved 9 seats,Red Rings of Fear,Eyeball-all of which are truly demented.
Out of the more accessible stuff you could have look at Strip Nude for Your Killer(with its ever popular forced anal sex finale…),Torso,Strange Vice of Mrs Ward(my favorite of all the Martino giallo’s)
You could also have a look at Ursula’s Sister-the recent Severin disc where the killer appears to be a more murderous version of Dirk Diggler….

I’m really not one for the theme months.  That being said, anything ya’ll choose to do should be entertaining. (yes, I said “ya’ll”)
