So here’s the deal. The second episode of the Sound that YOU guys heard was actually the third we recorded because of a software glitch, I had thought the second episode was lost forever but I was able to retrieve it from the temp files. So THAT’S why when I post it friday morning it will have continuity issues.
Also I was thinking it could be like our beloved genre and this episode whilst it is Part IV….is actually a prequel….the influence of genre cinema is everywhere nowadays!!
Well in Japan, Diabolical Sound part 4 is actually part 2.
When I release the Cinema Diabolica year one DVD they’ll be in the correct order.
I hate to tell you this but my friend bought Cinema Diabolica Year One on DVD two weeks ago at a outdoor market in Bangkok.
It was about 1/10th of what you will charge for it. The cover has a xerox photo of you and DZ nude on doing things to each other I not want to even think about! And they spell the name of the show wrong-The Sounds of Dialing My Farang Dik (I will let those who interested find out what that word means).
The quality is OK-someone took a tape recorder and taped it-but every 10 minutes you hear people in the background yelling at each other about the World Cup. And every episode cuts off about 2 minutes before it is finished.
F13 likes to think he can sing like Johnny Cash. I’d like to see him sing Dewgong Deep Cash-style.
now THAT’S something I can get behind. I’d buy the cassette single for that masterpiece. I vote that F13 doing Cash singing a dewgong song should be in the extras for us diabolical legionnaires. BTW, DZ, you know what would make that even more awesome? if you did the part of June Carter-Cash in harmony with him.
