This film is every bit as good as I had hoped it would be and infinitely better.  You’re not prepared for what this movie will do to you.

The best film of the year (so far).

Tough to say.  It’s a tie?  Even listening to a review on another podcast today brought me close to tears.

WALL-E is my new favorite Pixar film, hands down.

Just saw it.  Blown away.  Pixar keeps outdoing itself, especially on the animation.

I don’t know if I’m ready to call it my favorite Pixar film, though.  I’ll see after a few more viewings.

I think it is this generations E.T. As I was telling Samurai via IM, the movie had me misty right away with it’s stunning and I mean mind-boggling rendereded animation, then I fell in love (total balls-out man-love) with Wall-E just going about his day, then toward the end I was dabbing my eyes. Hell, writing this is making me a little misty. This movie is soooooo good. I keep telling everyone to go see it. I can’t wait to take my nieces to see it.

Gush, gush, gush, GUSH!

Jokes.  I can’t wait to talk about this one, and as we’re recording tomorrow, I guess I won’t have to wait much longer.  I do agree with the E.T. comparison though.  The kids that see this in the theater are never going to forget it.  Hell, I’m never going to forget it.

I honestly don’t see how anybody could see WALL-E and not love it.

I’m sure if I had MPD one of my personalities would hate it. It would probably say something like,“It’s a cartoon. I’d sooner cry over roadkill than computer graphics.”

The guy who smuggles black tar heroin inside of blood diamonds and sells them in order to fund the terrorists, even that guy probably liked Wall*E.  You know who doesn’t like Wall*E though? Neo-cons.  Go figure!  A pro environmental message in a kids movie causes an uproar on the same weekend when Wanted glamorizes guns and the power one obtains when they have them (and hey, don’t get me wrong, I liked both films a whole hell of a lot, but the message is there in no uncertain terms).

Messages are overrated. Bring on the needless fart jokes.

Totally!  That’s why Shrek totally beats Back to the Future and Ghostbusters into submission.
