Got ahold of Flash Gordon Remastered Edition recently….ahhhhhh…aaaahhhh….he’ll save every one of us!!!

Also have scored a shit load of stuff recently, especially Spaghetti westerns and 70’s and 80’s action films…...and I picked up Beowulf on HD-DVD very cheap….2 bucks…...it was worth 2 bucks surely…......I have purchased over 100 films in the last two weeks for about 50 bucks…..been scoring left and right…...

On the negative side, I am completely out of room to stock all this shit so I have had to get creative…..my wife just loves it!!!!!

I bought a Jean-Claud Van Damme “Quadruple Feature Van Damme Fight Pack” the other day.  It includes Hard Target, Timecop, Street Fighter and The Quest.  I’m ashamed to say that I’ve only seen half of these flicks, and that I remain woefully ignorant of Professor Van Damme’s master thesis on particle acceleration (also known as Timecop).  Still for $10, I don’t see how this isn’t an amazing value (unless you don’t like Van Damme, in which case, phuck you).

Also picked up The Signal which I liked a lot.  I don’t know how many times I’ll revisit this one, but the special features are pretty solid, so it’s good for a rental at the very least.

The Quest was the other movie in the set that I haven’t seen yet.  I do remember seeing ads for it on TV when I was a kid though.  I must have been about 9 when it came out, but I remember thinking, even then, that it looked like a bad Bloodsport knock-off.  Still, I’m stoked to watch it.

And has anyone heard anything about a release date for JCVD?  I’ve heard it’s awesome and I can’t wait to see it.

I picked up a Stephen King 4-pack. It has Dreamcatcher (ugh), Cat’s Eye (yay), Creepshow (mega-yay), and Dolores Claiborne (loved the book, never saw the movie, love Kathy Bates and Jennifer Jason Leigh). Not bad for $10.

I almost bought that one too.  Instead I opted for The Beast Inside/The Bat People and Dead End Drive-In/Cut and Run.

Venture Brothers Seasons 1 and 2 as a two-pack from Newbury Comics. That was our joint wedding anniversary gift - and jalapeno pizza.

We are very lucky! According to AMEX it is the third most frequent place we shop, behind the grocery store and the gas station.

Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs.

and um…

The Muppet Show Season 3.

I don’t buy so many anymore.

I am interested in the anime Batman tie in (Gotham Knight) coming in a few weeks.

Not really in the right genre but I’m out of disposable income to take chances on stuff .  :(

Although, the copy of [REC] that someone got for me was a great score a few weeks ago!

The Muppet Show Season 3.

Nice! I love Muppets, but the asking price for the DVDs is insane.

Yeah, but it’s worth the price to see that Alice Cooper show again.

Thank god they only seem to come out about once a year with a new one.
