Listening to diabolical sound 2 at work and your discussion of Soft Drinks. Thought you ought to know that Dr. Pepper is the first real American soft drink invented here in Texas in the 1800s before Coke ever existed.
But what you need to get your hands on if you have not had it is Dublin Dr. Pepper. The Dublin, TX plant still makes Dr. Pepper the old way with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. The stuff is nectar.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon a 12 pack of these at a local grocery store here like a year or two ago? I should have stockpiled that shit as I didn’t really think about it being probably a limited time thing. They were in tall cans too. God love cane sugar. You know what else is great? Dr. Pepper chap stick.

My Wife wears that a lot. She picked up a bunch at the Coke store in Vegas last year
3/4 shot amaretto almond liqueur
1/4 oz 151 proof rum
1/2 glass beer
1. Fill a shot glass about 3/4 full with amaretto and top it off with enough 151 proof rum to be able to burn.
2. Place the shot glass in another glass and fill the outer glass with beer (right up to the level of the shot glass).
3. Ignite the amaretto/151 and let it burn for a while. Blow it out (or leave it burning if you’re brave - not recommended) and slam it. Tastes just like Dr. Pepper.
I remember a cream soda called Blue Cream and it looked like anti-freeze, but tasted amazing.
You ever had a soda called “Big Red”? Tastes like cotton candy bubble gum. I think its pretty smurfin disgusting. The only thing worse than that is Diet Big Red.

Big Red is incredibly popular here in the South, we especially like it when after a drunken binge, we head to the local White Castle and throw down some Jalapeno Cheeseburgers and fountain served Big Red!!! Oh it is heaven, but remember we are drunk…..
Big Red actually tastes awful….but in the throws of a drunken stupor, who doesnt eat or drink something they normally would not touch?
And keep your mind out of the gutters while answering that question please…..but if ya must…...
Dr.Pepper is my favorite pop, but I can rarely drink it due to dark pop not agreeing with my skin.. do you Yanks say pop? I know most of you say soda(none of us Canucks ever use the word soda, unless we’re referring to soda water)
