It’s always a toss up and is based largely on what the wife and I are in the mood to watch for the week! We try and keep it either old, or straight to video and avoid studio releases.
It also depends on what we’ve gotten screener wise for the week as well. If we get to straight to video screeners, they get bumped to the top of the list to keep them timely to their release dates!
But we also take requests and what not. I like to look at what is going on during the week and try to go for a theme of sorts, however it doesn’t always work out that way. Another way I like to choose is to grab one of those big box sets some companies have sent us, close my eyes and grab one out and watch it. Sometimes that works sometimes it doesn’t.

You know, I’ve got a few of those sets, and I love ‘em! I found Zombie Rampage in one of those sets and ended up reviewing it on an early episode of Mail Order Zombie, and then Shadowhunters ended up getting a review from me over at Drunken Zombie . . . ! There are some hidden treasures in there . . . !
I like the random nature of choices. I listen to a whole lot of horror podcasts these days, and love Midnight Muenster. Having a husband and wife review horror, rather than just a bunch of fanboys is actually refreshing and I really like hearing what you guys have to say. Kudos!
