Alright….who’s going to see The X-Files with me this weekend? Anyone?

Also, we’re doing an X-Filey show for #106, but we’re only touching on our favorite non-mythology episodes. No black oil or super soldiers talk allowed….because no one really understands all of that anyway. And I will be geeking out as much as possible this entire week. I figure I restrain myself throughout much of my regular life…you guys can give me this one little week, right? It’s like a holiday for X-Philes!

I’m sure we’ll go see it. My wife and I both like the X-Files, although I think she’s a bigger fan than I am. I Want to Believe that the movie will be good; it just seems kinda weird to have an X-Files movie now, after so many years. Will anyone except the fans really care?

I’m glad you’re excited and I look forward to hearing you talk about it.

This movie is gonna be SOOOOOOO bad, I think. I used to like the show quite a bit—I was one of the few who watched it from the very first episodes.

But this movie looks like one of the weaker episodes—like it should be a TV movie, not a summer feature film. I Want To Believe I’m not gonna be disappointed, but I think I’m kidding myself.

Naysayers! Doubters! Scallywags!

I’m in for this movie. It could suck, but considering how much I love the show…will I even notice? You see, I’m quite the X-Files apologist. Just ask Freddy.

I am going to try to work it in this weekend but I’ve already got tix to Dark Knight for Saturday.  I was too much of a pussy to brave the theaters on opening weekend.

I am sure I will enjoy the X-Files movie but I really wanted to see some kind of monster and from the trailer, it doesn’t look very monster-iffic. But no matter, I’m sure it will still be smarter and more enjoyable than 75% of the other stuff that is coming out this summer.

So you’re going to find a way to work Home into your discussion right? No X-Files round table would be complete without a little quadrapalegic mother-son lovin’!

I want to see this.  Bad.

I was a little excited about it when I first started reading about it, but as we get closer and closer to the release date, I’m getting more and more excited . . .

Opening weekend?  I might see it then . . . yes . . . I just might . . . :)

I want to see this….even though I haven’t seen much of the series.  Err…I’ve seen hardly any of the series.  I really need to get cracking.  Every time I catch this on Sci Fi, they are showing the more err..complex episodes. (I think they’re towards the end of the series)  I’m more into the “monster of the week” myself.  I did catch the Home episode and that was some creepy, creepy shite.  Hopefully, the movie will be a kinda stand alone movie.

Just a word of advice…stay through the end of the credits. That is all.

The end of the opening credits? Nah, my advice would be to leave before they start.

For some reason, I wanted to see this movie much more when I saw the trailer a month ago. Dunno why… I’m not even a fan of the show to begin with.

My wife and I just saw this this afternoon.  I was satisfied, but I’ll hold off on talking more about it until I hear what the crew has to say about it . . .
