I just finished watching “Gangs of the Dead”, earlier today.  (Was about to leave a voice mail about my take, when the battery on my cell ran low.  :(  Oh well, I was kind of waiting for that all day, anyways, so it gives me a chance to recharge the phone before I travel during the weekend.)  So, if I get a chance in the next 3-4 days, I’ll leave my review of it, the next time I call.  ;)

I look forward to listening to this. I keep hearing mixed reviews from people about the movie.

My review, which I left in the MOZ voice mail yesterday, might be a bit on the longish side, so I don’t blame Brother D if he feels he needs to cut it down some.  ;)  But you can safely add another “mixed” take on the movie.

Well, unless Real Life throws something oblong and wrench-shaped at us, I’ll be reviewing Gangs of the Dead in either Episode 33 or 34.  Having just recently watched the Phantasm films for the first time and having just added Reggie Banister to my list of “Favorite Actors,” I’m extra curious to see what role he plays in this movie . . .

I’ve seen Night of the Living Dorks and Hide and Creep. I may be able to hook you up with Hide and Creep if you’d like.

I’d say that would be the bee’s knees, but Bren might go into fits over the mention of the B-Word . . . !

I remember you saying you’ve watched this.  If you’re up to it, wanna record a little somethin’-somethin’ for the show for it?

That’s probably the best way of looking at it.  I’ve seen better, but I’ve also seen MUCH worse.  At best, it’s passing mediocre.

You know, I watched all four of them practically back-to-back over the course of a 15 hour period, so I don’t know if I’m able to pinpoint just one as my favorite.  I’m still digesting a lot of what I saw in them, but right now, I’m leaning toward the first.  I really liked the way the fourth wrapped around back to the first, though, and the third just had . . . see, this needs to be talked about on a podcast or something . . . :)

Sounds great!  We actually ended up pushing back the review for this for another week or two, so if you’re interested in recording something, feel free!
