Despite how humdrum Wishmaster is, ShowShow84 was a damn good one.

Thanks dude.  I don’t know that I entirely agree, but thanks.  We’re in the midst of Puppet Master right now and so far it’s bringing back warm, fuzzy memories of misspent afternoons watching the sci-fi channel.  Hell, we’re even watching it on VHS (that’s a plastic rectangle with grainy movies inside.  If you find one, please do not try to crack the rectangle open in search of these films—you’ll only find shiny black tape that smells like chemicals).

Eh. I have a soft spot for the ridiculously off-topic ShowShows.

Anyway, I too am watching Puppet Master. I hate to say it, but… I’m bored out of my skull. Thankfully, it’s almost over.

Good Lord. I don’t know if I would have done the same. I’ve been waiting to see Trick ‘r Treat since 300 came out on DVD.

I’m really looking forward to the rest of Beef’s week, though.

I’m bummed too, but I made a promise to be here for every episode and I’m sticking to it.  I’m not really worried about it anyway.  I’m sure I’ll find my way into a screening soon enough.

That’s not a cryptic hint, by the way.  I just know how things work in LA.

Also, the good news for those who don’t visit Hodge Blodge is that we were just sent a screener copy of Return to Sleepaway Camp and we’ll be watching that as one of the final three movies of the Spooktacular.  Hooray!

Almost there, guys! GO GO GO!

Also, Night of the Demons disappointed me. Still pretty fun, though.

I’ll take a wild guess and say that Alan won’t show up. You know Alan, sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

Alright, so, I watched The Man Who Laughs. I actually really liked it. Freaks in love always sort of get to me.

I don’t know if Clancy Brown was on Murphy Brown. Never watched that show. And Katie was right about Dan Akroyd having a really popular wine up here. Then again, Wayne Gretzky has a relatively popular wine here. Tells you what Canadians know about wine.

I have seen a lot of episodes of Murphy Brown and I don’t ever remember seeing Clancy Brown on it. Scott Bakula - of course - but no Kurgan.

Return to Sleepaway Camp looks incredible. I can’t wait to see it.

ShowShow93 is hands down my favorite episode of the month. Dan and Mike need to be on the show more.
