Let’s scare Jessica to Death was pretty good. It was a bit flat for me in spots and the lead Zohra Lampert was a just too “Shelley Duvall” for me to ignore. She was just odd, and NOT “I just had a break down” odd.

I did love the twist, I would have like to learn more history or lore about the stuff though.

ALSO…Thanks to you guys my Spouse had man-handled my Netflix Account! So The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh is at the top of the queue. Sigh…

I have to admit, she was amazingly beautiful!

strange vice is def now my favorite giallo to date. i really felt engaged throughout the entire film and the pacing was perfect, as was fenich and hilton. and yeah, the end really was clever and unpredictable. martino smurfin rules.

I think she looks pretty good now (well, four or five years ago when she popped up in some shows about giallos and in DVD extras)

I just caught up with Let’s Scare Jessica to Death and I loved it. Moody, atmospheric, slow burns are right in my cinematic wheelhouse. This movie was very similar to some of my favorites including Romero’s Martin, Fessenden’s Habit and Tony Williams’ Next of Kin. I love movies about sad, lonely people who may be slowly losing their minds. Good times!

If I wasn’t so dad-blamed old, I wouldn’t know what this is.
