I had been travelling through Southern Africa for a month

Cool!  A co-worker of mine just got back from Africa.  Apparently you can shoot a giraffe for $3,000.

Anyway…

TFICast 61:  Clumbersome

Jeremy and Erik spend a lot of time talking about movies and try to write the plot for “Go, Dog.  Go”.  Then they try to compare stories in movies versus television.  The idea of a human/computer hybrid virus is pontificated.  They then talk about pride and ego of the spreading of misinformation as fact.  Erik reads a bible passage and recalls some punny stories.  Jeremy makes fun of Chiropractors.  Finally they debate the healing power of a positive outlook.

TFICast 62: The Shop Keeper

Due to a PC malfunction Jeremy and Erik crash test the remote podcasting equipment with topics of Janet Jackson’s bits,  the world being a more peaceful place if there were boobs on TV and talk of waiting in lines.  Erik interupts Jeremy to get a bag of chips, then Erik retells the previous three attempts at this weeks episode in two minues.  Erik compares himself to the shopkeep in an RPG which leads into the capitalism of RPGs.

TFICast 63: The Big Brown PodCast

Jeremy runs into an old friend who poo-poos the idea of The Fundamental Interconnectedness of all Things which leads to a discussion of how TFICast fits amonst the plethora of other podcasts.  The guys obtain a new Nintendo Entertainment System, play a game of MULE and then relate it to society.  “TFICast 43: Garage Sale the Movie” resurfaces and Jeremy regrets selling the stuff that he did (however the regret almost instantly resolves itself).  Jeremy and Erik discuss the money trap that is Disney World.  Jeremy finds it difficult to articulate most thoughts.  A parallel between school extracurricular activities and being an electronics dork is made.  Jeremy and Erik reminisce about how cumbersome computers were in the mid to late 80s.

TFICast 64: SYS64738

Jeremy and Erik discuss their origins as it pertains to the Commodore 64.  Jeremy talks about his history with the Bee-Line.  Erik tries to figure out the difference between MODEMS, DSL and cable connections.  Jeremy attempts to explain how it all works.  A MULE update is detailed which leads to a conversation of kids and video games of the 21st century.  The guys talk about the merits of doing absolutely nothing in a completely connected world.  The conversation steers toward the old 1% of the population owning 99% talk.  Jeremy admits that he watched the American Idol finale (and enjoyed it).  The spice of life is discussed.  A plea for some listener feedback is made.
