I’m all for the earlier suggestion of Danger: Diabolik. Also, maybe Host, Amuck! (I feel like the only person on popsyndicate to have seen that one and it’s a lot of fun but nobody is checking it out) and Rififi.
Oh, and maybe real oldies, like the Mamoulian version of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde or some Krimi movies. How about those old serials like The Green Archer or something campy, Sunday afternoon fun like that?
Nowtas, yes, this one would be fun to cover by either CD or the Gents. I am totally and completely in love w/both ladies in the film. Ms. Rosalba Neri is truly sex on wheels. Ms. Bouchet is quite the stunning beauty herself. A fun and sleazy giallo, tops, Nowtas.
Have you seen Ricco the Mean Machine? Bouchet, Malisa Longo, and Christopher Mitchum? Here’s a trailer NSFW:
Sexy - with a sleazy plot and some really sleazy villany. It’s not a typical giallo, more a melodramatic thriller.
The ladies are incredibly beautiful in this one - and I have a major thing for the dumb brute that plays a key part in the initial mystery and the final showdown.
I really do love the film - it’s such slow burning fun.

This one is also screaming for some coverage. Late.
Thanks for the trailer link - that looks quality. I much-loved the shamelessly sexy request for some change. I’ve added it near the top of my movies to track down.
Ah - they just can’t make such films nowadays can they?

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I don’t know where. Because of the S&M hunter episode with the talk of nun fetish, I recommend School of the Holy Beast.
Also, for the grown-ups: Miami Blues. Alec Baldwin as a petty thief that steals Fred Ward’s badge and goes on a vigilante raid through the city, taking things in the name of the law and shooting people for fun. There’s even a haiku about breaking and entering.
I don’t know why more people don’t talk about this film. The performances are great, the story is sort of an absurdist take on Kurasawa’s Stray Dog, and it has Remo in it!
Another movie from my youth. Baldwin is at his best in this film. I love that his character not only stole Williams’s badge & gun to make him look like a chump, but he also made off with his false teeth making him look like a bitch too. Near the end Baldwin tries to fence some junk and all I have to say about that scene is,‘Where the hell did that machete come from?’
Miami Blues is made of 80’s win.
Mine, too. DZ, you must be really close in age to me. Anyhoo, don’t forget Baldwin also slapped Ward in the head like six times w/a slapjack. That must have hurt like a bastard. I also remember the image below being the beverage of choice in the movie. I read the Willeford Hoke Mosley novels when I was in high school. Great stuff (although Cockfighter is a great book and great movie).
Phucking well done, Hans. Cockfighter. Everyone go out and watch it.
Hey now, I want Charley Varrick for me. Don’t go blabbing about it over here, Quint.
You need to watch Hopscotch if you haven’t seen that one either. Walter’s character’s name is Miles! It’s a fun movie to boot (why am I talking like my dad?).
I would love to hear your guys take on Eight-Diagram Pole Fighter, as that is like 17 kinds of bad-arse.
Gorden Lui is wicked as usual and i like the slightly darker than normal (for this type of film) tone it had.
