I just listened to #50 and around 43min there is some discussion about peoples awareness/outrage about the war in Iraq. Just about everybody in this country is within 1 or 2 degrees of separation of someone who has been hurt/killed/seriously affected by the war. Ok so my question is why are more people not completely pissed off about that? Think about it, if even one kid dies because he was doing something stupid with a toy, something the toy wasn’t even intended for, it becomes the talk of the watercooler and you better hope you don’t own any shares in the company that made the toy. Cause your gonna lose your money. But evey DAY Americans are Dying in Iraq and nodody even talks about it anymore! I think i can answer my own question here. People feel like we’re helping the Iraqs. People feel moral about cleansing the world of terrorists. People have been told that they have to be scared that the terrorists will attack again at ANY time so we better be on the offense. How long does it take for people to wise up? A War on terror cannot be won! Thats like a war on crime! Breaking news! the Chicago police force has been dissolved because they just announced that the war on crime has been won. ???? the more you poke around at a fire, the faster its going to burn. but the people getting poked don’t burn up, they have kids who keep on burning. The real answer here is Money
