I just couldn’t handle the weekly schedual.

I didn’t like being commited to a book every week. It was a pain.

And 52 issues...no one seems to realise how many books that is.

Its a huge run and I doubt I’d ever touch it again. I certainly wouldn’t read it through from the beginning.

I think it was a mistake using this kind of schedual. It should have been a 12 issue mini with some tie-ins.

Just me.

Any thoughts...?

I think it shows that a publishing company CAN meet its schedule.

Personally I’m enjoying it but I like the DCU and this feels like the most friendly place there right now.  I don’t read a lot of the regular titles but I’m enjoying this behind-the-scenes look at the DCU, focussing on the smaller characters.  Is every issue great?  No but it is a fun journey that I’m still fascinated that they’re pulling off and look forward to how the title will wrap up in the next 6 months.

And I’d think they realize that it’s 52 issues.

I know I’ll be reading it again sometime after it’s completely published to see how everything fits together.

I’m actually old enough I remember when Action Comics was weekly, so this isn’t really huge to me. Some of the reveals are working for me still, including puttlng Montoya out there as a main character. I hope that if she is eventually called “The Answer”,. she becomes a private eye and that’s a nickname. I’m a little more annoyed with the Question, really. It sets me on a train of thought I don’t want to deal with.

There are really only a couple of things that made me want to read 52 (not that I am).
First Renee Montoya is a great character.
The journey of Batman, and Robin(s) I’m very curious about it especially with the status quo that developed with the one year Jump.
The mentions of World War III, i can admit that occasionally hype does make me curious enough to almost buy, I am on a budget however so 52 will be read when it’s collected if ever. If it’s too pricey I’ll be receiving it as a gift to boot.
