Okay, so you may have seen this make the rounds on facebook or myspace, but if you haven’t or if you thought it was fun, give it a go.

1 - Go to “wikipedia.” Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to “Random quotations”
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use Photoshop (or similar) to put it all together. (I used http://fotoflexer.com which is free, online and asks for no information)

5 - Post it here and show all your friends!

I’m absolutely terrible at doing things like this but I couldn’t get the original size of the picture so I had to enlarge the one I got.

Featherlite Trailers

Never have children, only grandchildren

This is seriously a GREAT exersize in TFI of all things.  Random images and bits of culture assigned to an individual.  Inevitably some connection can be pieced together with the billions of bits of info in the human mind.

What connects me to an icebreaker( cover photo)?  WEll sometimes i feel stuck in life and the way forward takes a shitton of hard work but to get anywhere I have to push forward.  Also, this particuler icebreaker seems to be heading into a foggy future and thats exactly how I feel.  What does the future hold?  All I can do is push on.

Band name=Featherlite Trailers?  well, I have this feeling that my body is just a meat trailer for my mind/spirit and I’m featherlite because there is so much that I don’t know about the world that I feel like I’m just skimming the surface of reality.

Album name= Never have children, only grandchildren.  Ok considering I’m right smack dab in the middle of papaville I sometimes wish I could cull the best moments of raising my child and leave the fussy bits to somebody else.  In other words, be a grandfather!

or maybe I just think too much

Jeremy, I don’t know what to say about yours though,  I won’t even attempt to connect that one.

I’m not sure what an Epistle is… but I certainly don’t like the blowing aspect.

Dante, I totally see that as chant metal…Chantal!  I wonder if that is a genre?  The lyrics are prolly very similar to start with… And the Knickers!  I think that is an English band isn’t it?  It is!http://www.myspace.com/myknickers

These are awesome. I especially like the Knickers one.

I made a new one too.  I don’t think it’s as good as the others though.
