Are shows going up on Monday now? Because I heard a show was actually recorded AGAIN this week.

Exciting.

Hooray! Two in a row! Excited to hear what you guys have to say about Fireproof.

Just about done listening. Really great show, guys. One of my favorites in a long time, actually. Despite its length, you were very on topic for most of the episode. I like the new “I pick a movie, you pick a movie” system as well. I miss the top fives, though. It’s been a long time since you guys did one of those.

Yeah, there’s a bit of retooling going on at the moment, given the fact that Beef and Alan have left Katie and I alone is a sea of sadness (for which I blame Alan). I think the Top 5 may make a return soon, as will The Most Dangerous Game (as soon as I stop picking stuff like Fireproof for featured reviews).

I’ve also been thinking about doing a news segment discussing whatever new releases are coming to theaters and DVD, but I think that’ll only date the show. The idea behind moving away from some of the new releases (which we’ll probably still cover) is to create an archive of shows that don’t have to have been listened to during the week in which they were made.

So maybe I won’t do that…

Actually, we thought about incorporating the weekly box office into the MDG. The idea was to have each of us guess what the top five movies of the week would look like, and whoever gets the most right wins (one point for each movie in the top 5, and double points for each film guessed in proper order). Again, we’ll see…

Another excellent episode. Loved the talk about Pippi Longstocking. I think I’d like to see Kirk Cameron in an American remake of Martyrs. That would be wicked awesome.

Miles, thank you for the plug about my new podcast (although I quit the show about a month ago).

Damn! Well, then I advise everyone go back and listen to the episodes with TVan in them. Those are the only ones worth listening to anyway ; )

Also, excellent call on the Martyrs remake. That’s great on a number of levels, as is Martyrs.

Working on that. We’ll see how it sounds next week, but I’ll be reconfiguring it to make for a smaller file size/faster download.
