Enjoyed the show as always…you guys are great company whilst doing dishes.

Your loyalty to the cancelled Pushing Daisies is admirable. As much as I loved Terminator, I deleted the final 3 episodes without watching them. I figured it was just a waste of time. I’m a horrible fan.

Alyssa - were you serious about Merlin? Is this something to be excited for? It looks slightly cheesy, but I am a fantasy novel nerd. Oh well, it’s all set on the DVR.

If the show is not that great or borderline and I know it is canned, I won’t bother with the last episodes. But I liked Pushing Daisies a lot, so I stuck with it. Plus I’d heard they had a tiny bit of time to try to wrap a few things up. They did okay with the options they had…

Merlin will star Michelle Ryan (formerly of Bionic Woman and Jekyll - where she was actually good) and Anthony Head and some goofy teenage boys. It is a 13 episode series from the people who made the updated version of Robin Hood that aired on BBC America a few years ago. It looks like the whole series was made for about $35. It’s like Harry Potter but with Arthurian legend. I guess Merlin is Harry and that would make Arthur, Ron and Gwen is Hermione. Oh yes….

Another great show guys!  I love Top Chef, but hadn’t seen the masters show yet.  With your ringing endorsement, I’ll give it a go.  That is the one thing that always amazed me about the original TC, that there was always one or two guys in that couldn’t cook.  Talk about poor vetting.

I also hadn’t heard about the Merlin show, and it sounds pretty good.  The Robin Hood show was okay, but seemed to fall into a “trap of the week” formula and you’d think after the countless escapes from the gallows at dawn, they’d just kill somebody on the spot.

I know you guys get bugged from the BSG crowd all the time, but I recently watched Caprica and it should be worth a mention if you get hard up for material.  It was really good, and complete as a story.  There is something so sad though about watching a show and knowing that it will all end in an giant nuclear war.

Caprica and a Nor’easter are both arriving this weekend so we might cover it soon. However, if the new Ghostbusters game arrives as well… all bets are off.
