So, I’m just listening to Big Red Podcast 133 (my first experience of this show) & I remember that BRP has a forum so I pop over here to see what others are saying…and there is nothing!

What is going on
? This show is my new favorite, consider me subscribed Alyssa.

Anyway, that Jada TV show (I’ve no idea what it was called) sounds awful! Like the hosts said, something like that needs a ‘personality’ to spruce it up and Jade Pinkett-Smith is quite bland. Boring.

My only complaint: Could you highlight more when you move from one TV show to another? I have an awful attention span and during this episode occasionally I was like: “What?! They’re talking about a different show now..?”, I realize that you tried to number it and that I sound ridiculous/contrary but, hell, make a noise. Jingle a bell. Hum a bar of a song. Whatever, if you don’t think you need that then just ignore me. I should just try to do only one thing at one time anyway :D !

My 16-year-old eardrums are fine listening to your show, it’s very enjoyable.

The funniest thing is that I don’t even watch much TV, I dip into new episodes of “House” and “CSI: Miami” and own all available seasons of Lost, Veronica Mars & Buffy. But that’s about it! Regardless, it’s fun listening to you three talking about TV shows I’ll likely never see.

I saw “Merlin” whilst I was living in the UK (when it actually came out for the first time) and you ignore those boys, Alyssa - I enjoyed it! There’s a couple’a goofy episodes but it has a few fun turns. My sister, who is 12, adored it - take from that what you will!

I’m gonna listen to episode 134 now, where I’m sure you’re going to say it’s crap.

What’s all this then? Teens are listening? Someone is listening? I’m not sure if we’re ready for this.

I’ve been quite the slacker this week.

Well - to address your comments. Thank you for listening. I didn’t much care for Merlin but I recognize that, like Primeval, it is probably a fun show for kids. I’m an old fogey who has no sense of wonder.

Second, I’ll make a better effort on the transition between topics. We usually switch quickly to cover 6-9 shows in about 40 minutes. I can’t promise that we’ll do music or something. That would, frankly, require more work than I’d probably do for the show. As it is, I spend as much time editing and posting the show as I do recording it and that’s about how I like it.

Thank you for listening and giving us a shot.

Well I can’t promise teens but you definitely got one teen here.

I look forward to your next show.

And I highly recommend that you stick with Merlin for a few weeks, it was actually originally conceived as a kids show - but there’s a vampireish episode in the coming weeks.
