I have to admit, I was a little nervous when I first found out about a new format, but I guess that’s a little ridiculous. It’s still NotLP, and it’s still awesome. I tend to skim over listener feedback anyway, so I guess it’s fine by me. Still, I’ll miss the long episodes.

Is this the end of Lovecraft month? If so, dandy job. I always enjoy the theme months. The Call of Cthulhu looks and sounds like a movie I’d enjoy quite a bit.

P.S. Props for I’m Going Slightly Mad, I love that song.

I always tried to talk my boss into ordering “Call of Cthulhu” when I worked in a public library video department. She never went for it, though. Sounds like it was worth seeing though, so I’ll have to track it down.

I really dig the 1 hour format.  banter, STVRR and main feature.  The three segments I give a crap about.  I can go to, well, all the sites you guys go to to get news if I really want to.  I am growing weary of super long podcasts, so the tight, compact format is cool with me.

I prefer the sprawling, tangential 2.5 hour episodes, but you guys do whatever you want. This was really entertaining. You still managed to fit dildos into an episode with tentacles.

Oh Allen, much like Jello there is ALWAYS room for dildos!

I also prefer the epic episodes, but that’s just me being selfish.  The condensed episode worked very well and was great as always.  I have to agree with TonyHex though…I usually tune out most of listener feedback.

I think I was worried (which sounds like the wrong word to use, but I just tried to spell used yesd so I don’t even know what I’m doing! Had a very stressfull and long month and am very tired) about the shorter running time, but I also thought it worked well. Anyway there’s always the classic long eps to go back to if I miss them.

I guess I never really think about how much time doing the show must really take up what with watching the films, looking up news and editing the show (not sure how much it edited really, but you know what I mean). You guys do have lives I guess!

Long, short I don’t care NOTLP rules and has got me through daily drives to the hospital over the last few weeks! It also got me through my Grandmothers whining cat while I was trying to give the house a deep clean before she goes home! Thank you NOTLP crew I love you guys!

Have I done enough tried rambling yet? Yes I think I have!

I’m really glad that the show has kept you amused during mundane tasks and daily drives.  That’s the best compliment we could ever get.  And as long as it’s in the form of praise you can never ramble too much.  :D

Aww sweetie we love you too! How is your grandmother? We decided that this would keep us more on track and Freddy has to do the show then edit it for like 2 hours after. It was a lot.

I think it might be like when you guys debuted the new theme music - at first, everyone was like, “WTF??  BRING BACK THE OLD THEME!”  and then..  pretty quick.. everyone got on board.

After all, what’s that lie that guys like to tell?  “It’s not the size that counts..”

NOTLP is NOTLP because of you guys, your energy, personality, enthusiasm, and wacky humor.  Doesn’t matter how long you guys go for.  And considering I have a hell of a time just trying to make time to record my epic-long show once a month, I can’t imagine the commitments you guys put in to bring us NOTLP every WEEK.  ‘Cos it’s not just the recording of the show;  there’s all the movie watching, finding stuff to watch, netflixing, mailing out discs/prizes/schwag/, blogging, tweeting, editing, etc. etc. etc.  All of it doesn’t sound like much until you put it all together.

The fact that you guys have kept the show around this long without going insane or knifing anyone and keeping a semblance of a life outside of the show while keeping it funny and engaging and garnering new listeners and not losing us old fart listeners is a huge testament to the power of NOTLP.

So, y’know? If you guys gotta reformat a little or cut some time out because, oh hey, you have lives too and well, hours upon hours of editing and recording can be a PITA, I think we’ll understand.

‘Nuff said.

Also, I think it was a great episode!  Just to give you guys an idea of the influence you have on me.. (Should I be saying this?)  The netflix discs coming for me tomorrow are Explorers, In the Mouth of Madness, Call of Cthulhu, and Event Horizon.  No, you had absolutely NOTHING to do with that.  NOTHING.  Really.  *snerk*
