As announced on the show, we’ll be taking a hard look at the four Phantasm films in October.  In previous months when we’ve had a theme - March of the Zombi(e) and Summer Knights - we’ve covered one movie in that month’s series each week, but in October, we have five Thursdays, and unless a Phantasm V is released in the next couple of weeks, we’ll run out of Phantasm before the end of the month if we program October the same way.

So, MOZ Family - this is where you come in.  I need your help in programming the month of October!  Should we do one installment from this franchise per week?  Knock them out in two episodes?  Should there be any sort of special feature/event (like when we crossed over with Dread Media for Summer Knights)?

What say you?

How about one film per show then a final retrospective with random musings, unanswered questions, favourite moments etc. about the franchise during the last week to round things up?

I could certainly do one a week, and this way, it also means I’m able to cover at least one other zombie movie every week as well.  For the fifth week, a wrap-up of some sort could be in order.

I’ve had another MOZ Family contact me off-forum about another approach as well involving bringing someone in who hasn’t seem the movies before for a fresh take.  I might be able to merge the two ideas . . .

Phantasm 2 is awesome.
It was actually the first of the series I ever saw and while it didn’t make any sense to me at the time, it creeped me out.
I’ve since watched all the rest and I like 1 a lot but 2 holds that special place.
Great month for MOZ!
