Does anyone else agree with the Around Comics guys and myself that Marvel Ultimate Alliance is like crack cocaine? I love me some Ultimate Alliance. I play Cap, Thor, Thing, and Human Torch. Cap takes care of business with his shield. Thing is a great brusier. Human Torch and Thor are great flyer characters. I made it through the easy levels a couple times, now I am trying to get through on the “noraml” level. I am a MUA junkie.

I don’t own the game, but is it any different from X-Men Legends? You know, other than having characters other than X-Men. It’s pretty much an action RPG, right? I’ve been thinking of getting it, but I need less distractions.

Jane, you get to play with a variety of characters. This is my first real video game since Galaga and Tempest (God that dates me). You can play Daredevil, Electra, Ms. Marvel, the FF, Dr. Strange, Storm, and others.

OMG. Yes!!! I cannot stop playing. I just beat Galactus with the Defenders (I cheated and unlocked silver surfer). It was great when the silver surfer asked the silver surfer who he is in the cut scene. This game is my addiction.

And I *hate* the training simulators.

I too hate the training simulations. How did you unlock the Silver Surfer? I have used him in the Galactus fight but that is about it.

I composed my team of recovering substance abusers and named it the AA-vengers.  Dr. Strange, Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, and Ultimate Thor.  Love this game.  The music’s incredible, voice acting terrible.  OMG, and the Nightcrawler fmv?  Too cool!

Yeah, it’s just like X-Men Legends. Just different characters and different worlds. It’s still a really good game. The cutscenes (the CGI ones) are awesome. Did anyone ever beat the Captain America training sim? It just kept pissing me off so I gave up.

I loved the XML series.  I’m hoping to score this gem on my birthday.

I did beat the Cap simulator..but didn’t score high enough to get a medal…so I gave up.

To unlock Silver Surfer, you must beat all the training simulators. Since that is impossible…here’s a cheat.

In the character select screen, put your arrow over the blacked out figure all the way to the left (I think)...then hit…

Down, Left, Left, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Start.

The surfer should appear in lieu of the black figure. If it doesn’t work, try a different blacked out figure, but it’s def on the left side of the character array.

I seriously rocked DigDug in college.  Along with BattleZone, Tron, Joust, and a couple of others whose names have faded into the mists of time.  Tron I could draw crowds with, and BattleZone I could play until I got tired—that’s value, man!
