Well, it’s been answered once and for all.  Midnighter pitches, Apollo catches.

Okay, I might pick this one up.  I’ve always thought Grifter was kind of sexy, and the thought of him and Midnighter in close proximity does funny things to me.  Are they even from the same world or is this one of those somebody gets sucked into an alternate dimension kind of things.  I never thought the Authority inhabited the same world as Wildcats and Gen-13.  Ooh, maybe a Grunge/Apollo storyline is in the works.  Like, maybe Apollo has an eye for young ones!

Yeah, they’re in the same universe. Grifter and I think other Wildcats were in Coup d’Etat with the Authority.

I might just have to check this out. Is it a one-shot or a limited series?

I’m kind of wary about this series.  Not sure why.  I’ve decided to wait to hear how it is and then pick up the trade if it sounds good.  And I NEVER wait for a trade.  Too impatient.

It’s a limited series.  This was #1 of (I think) 6.

People were worried about this because Chuck Dixon, the writer of the series, has made some pretty anti-gay comments:

“I don’t want to expect to be able to shield my kids from the subject of homosexuality as the media seems intent on bringing into my home and nothing short of cutting the electricity and boarding the windows will stop it. But I DON’T want my kids reading about it in comics.”

I liked the first issue, and intend to continue buying it.
