If you see Roberto (soo smurfin’ jellyous now) tell him he has a HUGE fan in boston that is loving all of his marvel work. I actually seen one of his plays when it was put on in Boston. I had even seen his play “Say You Love Satan” and enjoyed it.
Well apparently you two didn’t scare off Gail too terribly much since she said “Oh! And I also love the Comic Book Queers guys, they’re hilarious.” in her post-Cape wrap up on the YABS forum.
Can’t wait to hear the stories and see the pictures…

This weekend my partner and I went to CAPE and had an awesome time. Part of my week-long 40th b-day celebration! (YEAH ME- LOL!)
On CAPE day my partner, Joe, took this picture of The Real Eric, Stevie, HH Chris, and me. I also posted this picture on my MySpace page with the caption “Brothers”. And it got me thinking… Meeting Ult. Xavier at NYCC; meeting the Real Eric, Stevie, HH Chris and his partner Richard at CAPE; and the coorespondence I have had on the forums, MySpace pages, and such I realize how blessed I have been since Eric, Stevie, and Katie started this back in August. I really feel like I am connected to a very special community. I cherish my CBQ community and am lucky to have all of you to talk about DC vs Marvel, Superhero Makeovers, and all.

Which, btw, may I just say that I was surprised to be the only person (aside from a costume contestant) who wore a cape!?!? I mean…it’s called CAPE for smurfin’s sake! No-brainer…

LOL while standing behind the counter most of the day, I had several people point at you and ask me why you were wearing a cape. Since I had known most of them I just got to look at them and go ‘what’s going on today?’ and watch them take a moment before going ‘oh… oh..’ and realizing they just asked me an incredibly dumb question.
Though I did hear several people point out that the cape just made you hotter..
