yes, read it and that opening page put a huge smile on my face.  thank you, BKV!

i thought it was a really fun one-off and a cool experiment with story structure (of course i had to read it again backwards as soon as a i finished), even if the story itself was a bit light.  and i always love reading BKV’s dialogue.

in general, though, , but i’m still kind of wondering what this book is about.  i’m hoping they get a regular writer/direction for it soon (BKV would be awesome, but of course that’s fantasy).

I loved the grandiose dialogs throughout.  The typical James Bond villain and her thugs with all their tough talk made it a lot of fun.

I was lying in bed last night thinking about it and couldn’t sleep until I got up and read it backwards.

And Chris, I think you’re a very special guy, but I like you only as a friend.  Please tell your avatar to quit making sexy eyes at me.

It too me two or three pages to notice the story was backwards -_-;. In the second page, my thoughts were like, “...But you just kissed him!” and then, “What!? Why’re you falling from some unknown place!? My little brain doesn’t compute!”

And then I flipped to the back page and there was the line “I know how this will end.” Then, it all came to me.

I thought it was a really good issue, even if there really isn’t an overall story arch yet. Leave it to BKV to come up with such an interesting way of telling a story.

Oh, and Apollo definitely needs a makeover. I know this was already talked about in the Superhero Makeover thing, but he just looks really bad sometimes - the bottom of pg. 2 for example.
