In a move that boggles the mind, someone has decided to remake Black Devil Doll from Hell.

A remake of sorts although all it seems to carry over is the possessed black doll that kills. The original was a little over an hour long and so awful I got a headache from watching it.

In the original a very religious, trainwreck of a woman buys the doll at a curio shop, slowly falls in love with it and HAS SEX WITH IT. The doll goes missing and her life falls apart as she starts smurfin everyone she can to recreate the thrill she got from the doll. Then in the most tacked-on ending I’ve ever seen she walks into her room one day and the doll is there, she screams, blood comes out of various facial orifices and she dies.

It really seemed like the director had some sort of agenda or higher meaning on his mind when he shat this one out but it fails horribly. NOT worth watching.

This however looks like it might at least be funny.

But probably not.

Pickled Embryo covered the original in their blaxploitation episode. I didn’t heed Damon’s warning but please heed mine. Do not seek out this film..
