So…
It’s been a week since I first reviewed REPO! Did the excitement wear off?
I have this thing where I see a film and get caught up in all the excitement. This leads to me turning around and acting all “OMG THIS FILM ROXX!!!1!!!11!”. I decided to do a test with Repo! I decided to review it, wait a week, and review it again to see if anything sunk in or wore off.
REPO! The Genetic Opera is the type of film that we rarely see here in the states. It’s original, It’s graphic, It’s funny, It can get emotional, but most of all, it’s fun! I rarely ever sit through a film twice without feeling at least a little bored during the second showing. With REPO! though I found it just as good the second time and I’m pretty sure that this is going to stick with the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and so on. I cant wait to drag a van full of friends out to Berkley to see this and share this experience with them. I think the song “Zydrate Anatomy” from the film put’s it best
It’s clean, it’s clear, it’s pure, it’s rare…
It takes you there…
