Going down into the dark places to hunt bugs? Sounds like a plan to me.

First off I can review Episode 6 (it’s on my PSP and everything) I just need to get around to it… so I better get a fire under myself and review.
After two episodes the droid factories on Gnosis have fallen, but it was a heavy war and it looks like (oh crap) Ahsoka’s going to sit this episode out… now I really have to watch the last episode with her and her new galpal.
Anyway the battle was rather costly but it’s not over yet as the former commander of the Droid factory has gone to ground… litterly… and vanished into hiding with the reminents of his forces.
So since this bug is of particular use due to his knowledge it looks like they’re going to dig him out of the caves he’s gone into hiding, even if it means going through a bug hunt to dig him out of an Gnosis underground temple (along with female Jedi luminara who ends up chasing the enemy there during a sandstorm… however you go and spell that, sorry).

It takes abit to get into the darkness and the bug hunt, but once they get there and you see how utterly creepy (yet so fascinating) the place is you know this is going to be yet another good episode.
Once the storm is over Obi-Wan and Anakin take a batch of clones to the temple where they identify that it may be the lair of the Gnosis bug… queen? Wow… that’s creepy. Even more so once they’re wandering in the dark with only their lights and lightsabers to shine the path in the tunnels crawling with bugs everywhere (oh, and the target they’re hunting for as well as the lady Jedi they have to go and save)... oh, did I mention the bugs in the catacombs seem to suffer from Resident Evil-itis because they all wander like the walking dead? Not just bugs, seemingly undead creepy as (bleep) freaking ... what? THEY’RE REALLY ZOMBIES?!? WOW!! COOL!!! (They are relentless even when they’re being shot and hacked and butchered up!! How fricking awesome is THAT—damn, they should have showed this episode during Halloween!! Awesomely creepy episode!!)

Any problems? Nothing except it draws out abit and you have to wade through commercials and wait to get to the good stuff. For instance it takes awhile before they go tunnel diving and go extreme against the zombie bugs, and then takes abit more time (and another commercial break) before they meet the bug queen and confront her… by trying to talk to her and she’s apparently a Star Trek fan because she has this little trick… well you’ll see what happens next.

Overall the three episode Gnosis run was solid from start to end (yeah, I know, I still have to watch the middle episode but I glimpsed it abit and it’s all good so far) so that was a great trilogy. Hmm… all the episodes should be this good (no more pointless Padme episodes damn you series, and no JarJar episodes)!
A full out siege episode packed with action.
A girl power team up episode with Ahsoka and her new pal.
And a Left4Dead slash Resident Evil slash whatever undead zombie bug slash fest combined with abit of Aliens as… the Queen seems to be a copy of Aliens as she’s… giving birth to eggs… freaky…in the dark underground tunnels!
Yes, the good stuff is short and the finale against the queen abit… dragged out as first Anakin and Obi-Wan trade banter as they take the long walk to talk to the queen, and then when they talk to her… sorta… it quickly rolls to an end but still it’s all good and ends satisfactorily so no complaints from me. You gotta watch the end. All good.

Good work episode… oh crap, we have to wait two weeks to find out… the story is NOT OVER YET as it seems the little “gizmo” from this episode makes it way into next episode and begins to cause havok… and poor Ahsoka, looks like the whole situation may yet be the death of her… but TWO WEEKS… WHY TWO WEEKS… sigh… sadness!!
