It’s a little out of focus and the audio isn’t great but check out the new trailer for The Dark Knight.

Yes, it’s a Dragon Ball Z poster sighting. It looks like they took a pic from car ad and put a big ball in front of it. Four stars (literally)! a href="http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/04/27/dragonball-teaser-poster-updated/">Slashfilm has a quick pic of the japanese version as well.
Does every movie need a teaser poster? Can’t they just come out with the regular poster and be done? The Batman teaser poster was the logo. Actually, I think ALL of the Batman teaser posters were just the logo. Event the fan posters of movies are more interesting than the studio versions. Between the Wanted teaser of a intensly photoshopped version of Angelina Jolie, or the incredible let down of Castlevania teaser poster. What is it with teaser posters that just plain suck?
I take it back, partially. Some teaser posters rock and need no further help Transformers, Iron Man, Star Trek. Others?

Newsarama, Rotten Tomatoes, and other blogs are all equally excited about the poster of The Dark Knight which hits theaters May 18.
Has anyone noticed the similarity between the imagery used in the poster and the famous scene from The Crow? Is this on purpose, coincidence, or is setting buildings on fire in a post 9/11 world the new black?
Sometimes a flaming bird is just a flaming bird.

Red pill? Blue pill? Spoon full of sugar?
Beca Lewis writes about the parallels and differences between the two movies that cast worlds in both fantasy and reality and examines their hero/villain aspects.
Both movies allude to what I call the big R Reality, the Reality behind the façade that we accept as normal life.
Neo when down the rabbit hole. Giselle get's shoved down a well.
Hugo Weaving looks great in drag. Susan Shardon's character is an evil drag queen.

The first official trailer of the Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton is out. Luckily, you don’t need to pile into a theater seat to catch it. But watching it on the big screen would probably be more kick a**. Watch the new Hulk trailer now.

The master of tales and the master of… creepy stop motion things (Neil Gaiman and NBX’s Henry Selick) have teamed up for über-awesomeness. Coraline’s teaser trailer is available at Neil Gaiman’s site here: http://www.neilgaiman.com/p/Cool_Stuff/Video_Clips/Coraline_Teaser
But we’ve got the YouTube clip!
The only thing the sucks about the teaser is the phrase used at the very start of it, “Next year.” Oh well, there will be plenty of other great movies before then like Justice League, Star Trek…
