Aronofsky To Direct ‘Robocop’ Remake??

Could the ‘Robocop’ remake be directed by the director of ‘Requiem For A Dream’?  Find out here…

Another day, another remake…  At least this sounds interesting:

BloodyDisguisting.com is reporting that MGM is targeting Darren Aronofsky(‘Requiem For A Dream’, ‘The Fountain’) to direct an upcoming ‘Robocop’ film.  Do we need another ‘Robocop’ film?  Probably not.  But if Aronofsky signs on, then it would definitely be worth checking out.  Most likely this is just rumor and we’ll end up with ‘Robocop:  A Stephen Sommers film’.
