‘Dragon’ Is Better Than ‘Knock Stuff Over’ Wars

Actor Craig Robinson (Dragon Wars) has an opinion about disaster movies... From an interview over at MovieWeb, Craig Robinson of the movie Dragon Wars (releasing this Friday) shares some insight on disaster movies:

What is it about disaster films that really seem to be catching fire with people? You have Transformers that did really well... why do you think it seems like people want to see this kind of thing?

Craig Robinson: Who just doesn't want to knock stuff over? Knock the computer off the desk and let out their frustrations? We get some solace in seeing it done before us. Everybody goes to the movies and you get yourself in the character's shoes, you get to go away for a little while. I don't know if it's the timing of it but that's the way I feel.

That's deep. And so straight to the point. If the dragons weren't enough to sway me to see this movie, this certainly will 'cause deep down, I just want to knock stuff over. Take that, diet coke bottle. Don't give me that fizzy look of desperation from down there, diet coke bottle... you know you liked it too.
