The Coen Brothers have cast their next film “A Serious Man”. 

Set in 1967, the film is a black comedy about two brothers.  You won’t find Coen alums George Clooney, Brad Pitt or Nic Cage cast as the brothers but Michael Stuhlbarg and Richard Kind.

If you’re scratching your head wondering who they are fear not, most people are.  Michael Stuhlbarg is best known for his work on Broadway with bit roles on “Law & Order” and “Damages” and Richard Kind is known for his role Paul Lassiter on “Spin City.” 

The story is about Larry Gopnik (Stuhlbarg) whose life falls apart when his wife tells him he has to get his socially inept brother (Kind) out of the house or she’s gone.

The Coen Brother’s next film “Burn After Reading”, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, opens next month. 

The film is set to start shooting in November.
