To remember Mike Wieringo, we look back at two important superhero works of his, Flash #0 and Fantastic Four #67. Both books explore how the past makes us who we are now. One issue looks at a hero and the other at a villain but both books, created by the same men 10 years apart, pick apart characters and examine their main characters through the lives they've lived and the choices they make.

At mikewieringo.com, Mike's brother Matt has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's name can be made to the ASPCA or the Comic Book Legal Defence Fund.
