Yet another title that I haven’t touched bases on in a bit of time… well, no time as the present to catch up and… wait… since when did Forte fall to the dark side and become a crazed megalomaniac?!? What the!!

It has been a long time since I last reviewed this… wait, I seem to have been saying that a lot lately. It’s been a long time since I reviewed this, it’s been a long time since I reviewed that. That seems to be a common thread, huh… well, it HAS been a long time since I reviewed this, so let’s get right into it.

Apparently either this is a really good impostor, or Forte (from the original series) has just gone off the deep end and became evil… oh, wait a sec… how did she afford the assemble an army since all her money usually goes into her ancient gun collection?!? Strange…
Anyway it’s too bad, really, as it pits star pupil (Kazuya) against his old teacher (and I mean that not in the literal sense though I guess Forte is the oldest of the team from the first series and… uh… never mind.

Since “Forte” apparently brought her lunch (and a fleet of ships) to the party, it looks like the gang will have to retreat hastily (risking cataclysm “It’s gonna make Scotty cry if it happens” damage to the engines in the process).

Once away to safety, however, the mere fact remains that it seems Forte is out to conquer the new Neue galaxy and it has cast a bad light on… say what? In order to stop “Forte” and end this invasion the gang are going to… “Magical Planet Magiic”?!? Say what??

Oh, in the meantime it looks like there’s a backlash going on by the Neue people against the people of Eden because of this whole invasion, and Vanilla just got thrown off the planet she was on. Just as well as it looks like Nano Nano is in bad shape and really needs her now more than ever. Too bad the only way to save her may be to go back to the very planet Vanilla was thrown off from and force their way surface side to save her.

Oh, and if life wasn’t already sucking for Kazuya it seems he’s been made the new leader of the new Angel Troupe… I’m certain nobody will attempt to violently duel him over that decision by that idiot Takuto. Then one more romantic entanglement story (which also reveals the certain disposition of “two” of the members of this new troupe), and then we’re there! We arrive at Magiic… where the story ends in a cliffhanger. Come back to Volume 4 for more. After that bonus content and we’re done for the issue.

So then… should I go on?
As always there is no change in my opinion.
The artwork and story writing are all aces, and the fact we had guest appearances from the first series didn’t hurt either. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, and it ended in a cliffhanger times… whatever that means.
Long story short if you haven’t gotten into Broccoli Books long running Galaxy Angel series (original, Beta, II and Party) then why aren’t you doing so! Do so! Make it so!
4 out of 5 for a job well done.

well this story seems to be real good with bit of action and romance in nice proportion I think this story scores marks for its variety and variation in the story line. nice one.
