Is Bennet dead? That just won't stand.

We start out with Mohinder telling us everything we already know, but it’s OK—he’s very eloquent.

So Peter’s an “empath?” That’s what Invisible Guy called him and, although it sounds kinda weak, I guess it fits. It’s great that Peter finally has someone to help him slog through all the madness around him. Nathan and Mohinder tried to do this for him, but it was a case of too little too late.

Unfortunately Mohinder and Nathan think Peter’s power might be a problem. It makes sense that Peter wouldn’t trust these two and side with a wallet-stealing invisible guy,

The Niki storyline is still the drowsiest thing going on, but at least it’s picking up a little steam. It didn’t take long for Micah and D.L. to miss her and now she’s going to have to deal with her powers and split personality instead of sedating them. The idea of Niki merging with Jessica is intriguing enough to keep me from surfing the Web while Niki’s onscreen.

The domestic scenes with Matt and his wife were funny and a nice change of pace from all the drama he’s been going through. Although I don’t know what to make of Matt thinking he got his powered from Bennet. It looks like Matt is going to go rogue.

I’m loving the Hiro/Takei relationship. We never had any doubt that Hiro would always go to bat for Ando, but hearing him say “This is how we roll” was a nice treat. I must admit that powerless Hiro isn’t ass cool as powerful Hiro, but I’m in for the ride to get his powers back. Hopefully it won’t take too long and we’ll see Linderman go down.

So Claire’s mom is a firestarter? I figured her parents would have to be pretty powerful, and I guess that’s good enough.

Now, is Bennet dead? I really hope Heroes hasn’t killed off its best and most complex character just to follow the “kill a major character trend.” That just won’t stand.
