After last week lagging episode having a full out action episode as the Republic commits to a fresh new siege of Gnosis (you know, that planet from Episode II) is a nice change of pace… action, shooting and a whole lot of mindless violence. Joy.

The fruits of the labors of last episode (the near non fatal threatening of Padme’s life) is this episode, a full out all action siege on the planet of Gnosis with the newest large scale droid factory as the target.
For some reason it seems Anakin and Ahsoka are rather competitive this episode as they join in on the siege, with Obi-Wan and Ki-Adi-Mundi (that guy with all the wives you might remember first seeing storyline about back in the start of the Star Wars Ongoing comic from Dark Horse which became Star Wars Republic so many years into it’s run) heading in to take the factory… which goes quite badly as they’re forced down, split up, and fighting hard against insurmountable odds to reach their staging area for the fight to the factory… this episode is a hard fought struggle and this is not even the main fight, it’s just the long march to the staging area to attack the factory (protected by large fortress dam sized walls of guns and droids, and a giant forceshield protecting it from orbital attack.

From the moment go when the mission is launched to the cliffhanger ending it’s all action, and all good (even moreso since the series’ animation just looks way sweeter than back in Season 1 for some reason). It’s nice when the show goes all out action, and the show really becomes kicking like nobody’s business. Anyway the episode ends as the three forces of Skywalker, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Kenobi hook up again and the final battle to topple the droid factory begins… and continues next episode (no cliffhanger end though, it ends on a good note)! Damn good episode full of action (and the ending is must see) so that’s well worth a 5 out of 5. Wish all the episodes were this good… HEY COOL! Next episode Ahsoka gets hooked up with another female padawan to continue the assault on the droid factory and—nah, I won’t say what’s on the tip of my tongue… but you know I’m thinking it. Anyway next episode looks good so I’m hyped. See you next episode… so, what, next episode Friday or next Wednesday or Friday… why was this episode on Wednesday?
