What a bill of goods!
War is no longer something we read about in the newspaper; it has come full circle and we can now have an armchair travelogue about the war and what’s taking place.
War Made Easy is a no-frills journey on the soap box with liberals and conservatives alike as they push for war when was is uncalled for. They cajole the public into believing that not only is it our right to wage war but a privilege to do so. The news media has played into this scenario, too, by embedding reporters with troops on the front lines so reporting will be “fair” and honest.
War Made Easy talks about the steps taken to cover up the fact that there was no nuclear arsenal held by Saddam Hussein in Iraq and that only certain people wanted to go to war and those same people sold the American public a bill of goods when we went to war. First, it was a war against terror and soon became a war against Iraq and Afghanistan. We believed what we heard and now that we protest, our protests are falling on deaf ears in Washington. Why? Because certain people want us to be at war regardless what the price may be.
There are no special or bonus features on this DVD. War Made Easy speaks for itself often with a chilling effect. There are sequences comparing Iraq to Vietnam, Lyndon John to George W Bush. All of it is told in an unabashed way that shouldn’t leave a single doubt in anyone’s mind we have been hoodwinked and sold down the river.
This DVD may well help re-write history. With every piece of information that came across, I kept saying to myself, “I knew it, I knew it.” We’ve been lied to, and cheated by the government for way too many years. War Made Easy is a good play on words for it takes into consideration just how easy it is for the Commander in Chief to say “We will stay and fight.” I was very angry by the time the video ended and you will be, too. Watch it as the truth unravels across your living room floor. You won’t be able to roll it back up into a neat ball of yarn.
