After withdrawing her name from the Emmy nominations because she felt the writers of the hit series “Grey’s Anatomy” didn’t give her enough good material, her days on series may be numbered.

If Joey from Friends learned one lesson, it’s “you don’t mess with the writers” after his soap opera character fell to his death down an elevator shaft.  Heigl’s Dr. Isobel “Izze” Stevens could meet a similar fate according to Yahoo News.

This might just be what Heigl wants as her film career appears to be heading in the right direction.  After Heigl’s successful films “27 Dresses” and “Knocked Up”, she’s probably looking for that bigger payday and higher exposure.  While, it’s unlikely her character will meet an untimely demise, we can always cross our fingers for mid-season sweeps.
