Well the new season is off and running: The winners, losers and the OKs
The winner among new shows is "Back to You" featuring two sit com stars returning from TV after a brief absence. Over the last ten years two shows that dominated the ratings, and Emmy's when it was still a good show, was "Fraizer" starring Kelsey Grammar & Patrica Heaton on "Everybody Loves Raymond." In the early season kickoff, their show appears to be a clear winner among the few newbies that debuted. Surely the constant ads during Sunday night's Emmy's did not hurt. The well deserved loser [ok I confess I did not see it] is CBS' "Kid Nation." The premise of the show just sounds like reality TV gone too far, and where the heck are the parents, waiting at the bank? "K'Ville" starring cuddly Anthony Anderson and the very sexy Cole Hauser did lose the ratings race to CBS re-runs but the show did well lead with adults 18-49 and I think once the buzz gets going this show will do well. However, it has a tough road ahead of it matched head to head with NBC's run away hit of last spring: "Heroes". Maybe Fox will have mercy and find a better spot for the show.Syndicate this story
